There's pyEPL (Python Experimental Psychology Library) which provides an
open source library (to use with the Python Programming language). It
also provides ways to get access to reaction times and to synchronize
the experiment with external devices (like EEG...). It should run on
any Unix based system (it is tested on Ubuntu Linux and MacOSX, I've
made some -positive- tests on Debian Linux).
There's good information on their website concerning RT measurements
and interfacing with hardware.
