Re: [AUDITORY] Virtual Sound Source Simulation

The 3D Tune-In Toolkit has already been mentioned but I just wanted to point out that, apart from the library, the “Binaural Test Application” (https://github.com/3DTune-In/3dti_AudioToolkit/releases) comes with a nice GUI which is easy to use. It can also be controlled via OSC messages if one wants to use head tracking or just control it remotely from other software such as Matlab or MaxMSP, which may be useful.

Best,

Isaac

Dear everyone,
there is also Anaglyph http://anaglyph.dalembert.upmc.fr/

We integrated it in our study and I have to say that it was a reliable tool.

Sincerely,
Roberto Barumerli

We are also interested in this.

We haven't had time to try anything yet, but we have found https://resonance-audio.github.io/resonance-audio/ and https://github.com/3DTune-In/3dti_AudioToolkit. Does anyone know of other tools?

Please let us know how it works if you try it out!

Best,

Martin

Dear Auditory,

Due to the corona crisis we are moving our experiments online and are
looking for an easy to calibrate virtual sound simulation where sound
sources can be placed in virtual space by a generalized HRTF.
Does anyone have experiences in that direction?

Best,
Timo
