Re: Beware of circles
If an associative comment is allowed, I found this seemingly random collection of images strangely relevant to the relationship between geometric structural metaphors and the real-world phenomena they refer to.
Sometimes we get so fascinated and absorbed in the metaphorical models we make up in order handle reality we believe they are what's actually out there - but the real thing easily surpasses a description by straight lines, circles, etc. . . .
