Manchester Centre for Audiology and Deafness (ManCAD) will hold it's second
CAPers conference (Clinical Audiology Papers)
titled
‘Audiology in a Diverse World’
When? September 10th and 11th 2026
Where? The Contact theatre - an arts space that promotes diversity that is affiliated with The University of Manchester.
What? A meeting focused on clinical research addressing ‘Audiology in a diverse world’.
Topics will address ways in which diversity impacts languages and hearing; Genetics and gene therapy; AI and audiological care; uptake and acceptance of hearing care.
Who should attend? Researchers, audiologists, early career scientists, and students with an interest in clinical audiology.
There will be submitted and invited presentations, Panel discussion with members of local minority communities, discussions, and an evening poster session.
Travel scholarships will be available
