In the UK, there are approximately 45000 children with hearing loss. Hearing loss has a profound effect on children and their families. For children with hearing loss, there are various interventions and different aspects to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention.
However, we all know that different patients have different needs and expectations, so it can be tricky to find one outcome measure that meets everyone's needs.
This study is about outcomes, i.e. what matters to children with childhood hearing loss.
What will this involve?
It is hosted by a postgrad student at the University of Manchester and has been provided with a favourable ethical review.
You will be asked to complete an online ranking of what you think matters to children with childhood hearing loss, twice (at different times).
