[AUDITORY] postdoc/research audiologist opening

Below is the info regarding the research audiologist / postdoc position in my lab at UConn. The position is available for immediate start. We have other positions (PhD/RA/lab manager) also available. We will be at the American Auditory Society Conference next week to meet in person. 

JOB SUMMARY

The Auditory Perception and Neuroscience Lab (PI: Akshay Maggu, Ph.D.) at the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Connecticut is seeking a research audiologist/postdoctoral fellow to join their team to work on projects investigating central auditory processing using behavioral, physiological, and electrophysiological measures. The position is available for immediate start, initially for 1 year, but can be extended for another year.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. At the time of joining, the candidate will have completed their requirements for their clinical/research doctorate (e.g., Au. D., Ph.D.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Clinical certification (ASHA CCC-A or ABA certification); Experience working with EEG and pediatric populations is desirable.

APPOINTMENT TERMS

This is a full-time, end-dated, one-year appointment. Other rights and terms and conditions of your appointment are contained in the collective bargaining agreement between the University of Connecticut and the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace, and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW), Local 6950.
