It would be greatly appreciated if the below anonymised survey could be distributed to those in your network who have an interest in Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) for electric
vehicles, AVAS standardisation and regulation, universal design for electric vehicles, or pedestrian safety.
The EVA project, funded by Science Foundation Ireland and led by the National Disability Authority (Ireland) in partnership with the Technological University of the Shannon (Ireland),
focuses on how EVs impact pedestrian safety. As part of this work, we would like to gather information about public perception and pedestrian awareness of AVAS - particularly from those with disabilities.
