Stuart and all,
We're starting a course based on my book, with the students presenting, one chapter per week, sort of like we ran inside Google in 2021, but this time targeted mostly at our partners in the Australia Future Hearing Initiative. Anyone is welcome to attend, though I expect the 9 AM Sydney time will not appeal to people in Europe (midnight UTC, I think).
This will be run out of Macquarie University, via Microsoft Teams, with sessions recorded and presentations available, so might generate some useful material for others.
Ping me or Simon Carlile if you want to be included in the invitation. Or maybe we'll post more details here. It starts this coming Wednesday in Sydney (Tuesday PM in the Americas and London).
Our projects are focused on assistive hearing devices and hearing health delivery, so we go into a lot more depth in things like cochlear models than you do, but your book is one that I recommend for a good introduction to the relevant systems theory and signal processing approaches.
