Dear Auditory List,
Based on a gut feeling, I did a web of science search and confirmed my hunch that auditory scene analysis/stream segregation research has been declining in recent years, both in publications and citations per year. Does anyone have a theory to explain this decline? Surely, we don’t yet understand everything about this important ability.
