Dear all, I am pleased to inform you of the next translational research symposium NICIS (neurosciences in intensive care international symposium) 2023, which will be held as every year at the Pasteur Institute in
Paris, on June 26 and 27, 2023, with a very nice program this year as it will focus on the theme of "sounds for a better care in the ICU”. The program will focus this year on an original theme "sounds for a better care in the ICU", addressing for example the exploration of the consciousness of ICU patients by auditory algorithms/neurophysiology tools, auditory
processing and behavioral responses to different types of sounds, the sound experience of ICU patients, the effect of noise on post-resuscitation psycho-cognitive disorders and also the therapeutic aspect of music therapy in critical care.
We will also have the chance to welcome Armand Amar (a French composer specialized in film music and the emotional effects of sound) for a prestigious conference on Tuesday, June 27, as well as a "feedback" presentation
