Dear Colleagues,
The 10th Convention of the
European Acoustics Association, Forum Acusticum 2023, will be held in
presence in Torino (Italy) from September 11 to 15, 2023.
Forum
Acusticum 2023 is a triennial international convention organized by the
Italian Acoustical Association on behalf of the European Acoustics
Association (EAA). The Congress will be a world-leading event in
acoustics and an excellent opportunity for participants to meet in
person, expand their knowledge, and share new techniques and
competencies in the wide range of acoustics nowadays addressed in the
community.
As organizers of the session “A02-07 Bird bio-acoustics”, under the theme “A02-00 Bio-acoustics”, we invite you to submit a paper to this session.
This
session aims to bring together diverse approaches to avian acoustic
behavior, including field and lab studies representing a range of
species, and micro- and macro-level perspectives i.e. spanning
individual vocal interactions to community soundscapes.
Papers
can be submitted for oral (a 20-minute time slot is allotted) or poster
presentation through the Forum Acusticum 2023 website, https://www.fa2023.org.
The submission deadline for abstracts is January 31, 2023, while papers need to be submitted by April 30, 2023. The abstract will be 200-words long, and papers can be from 2 to 4 pages. All the papers will undergo a peer review process.
Thank
you in advance for your kind consideration, and if you have any
questions, do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to seeing you
in Torino!
Sincerely,
Julia Hyland Bruno, Livio Favaro
