Dear colleagues, This is just a reminder. Abstract submission and registration for the International Symposium on Auditory and Audiological Research (ISAAR 2021) are open. ISAAR 2021 will be an online meeting. Participation is
free. Important dates: -
Online ISAAR conference August 23-27 -
Abstract submission deadline June 15 -
Notification of acceptance July 15 -
Registration deadline August 19 Abstract submission details and further information will be available on our website
https://isaar.eu/. The topic of ISAAR 2021 is “The auditory system throughout life - Models, mechanisms, and interventions.” The concept is to consider this topic from different perspectives, including current physiological concepts,
perceptual measures and models, electrophysiology and neuroscience approaches, as well as implications for hearing devices and new technical applications.
In addition to the invited talks, we will have various talks as well as poster-like/pitch presentations throughout the conference. Besides the topics related to the focus area on "The auditory system throughout life",
we invite contributions covering a wide range of other areas within auditory and audiological research, including, for example, perceptual and physiological measures of auditory function, measures of hearing loss, auditory modeling, hearing-instrument signal
processing, aided outcome measures, multi-sensory speech perception, communication in complex environments, advances in neurotechnology and cognitive auditory neuroscience.
Depending on the number of submissions we aim to develop an exciting programme for both the presenters and the audience. We won’t have parallel sessions but only one major stream of presentations and discussions. After
the submission deadline, we will inform the authors regarding the specific format of their contributions. For questions, do not hesitate to contact the organization committee.
