Neurobiology The Department of Behavioral
Neurobiology of the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology in
Seewiesen (Germany) is seeking to fill a fully funded
three-year PhD position. Successful applicants will
investigate neural mechanisms that underlie vocal
communication in birds. Using portable telemetric equipment,
which has recently been developed at our department, neural
recordings will be conducted in groups of birds while they
behave freely in their natural environment. To apply for the position, please
