Re: [AUDITORY] Melodic movies

Hi Ani,

I'm not aware of a website per-se, but you can use the melodia vamp plugin with Sonic Visualiser to load any piece you want and visualize the pitch of the predominant voice (presumably the singing).

If you're working with monophonic recordings (no accompaniment) then you could use Tony (among may other tools out there, of course).

Best,
Justin

Dear List,

I have a question… there is a website where you can hear professional Indian classical singing and watch the pitch of the singer’s voice on a scrolling graph which captures all the nuances in vivid detail.

(Click on a Raga on the left menu bar, then after the page loads, scroll down and watch the associated movie.)

My question is: does anyone know of a similar resource for western classical singing?

Thanks,
