Two posts (one at Professorial level, the other at Senior Lecturer/Reader level – equivalent to Associate Professor) are open in the Department
of Psychology at Lancaster University, UK.
One of these appointments will be made in the area of developmental disorders in late childhood or adolescence to complement and expand on existing
strengths in typical and atypical development in infancy and early childhood. The other post is targeted with a broader remit to develop leadership and capacity in one of several research areas in the Department (Cognition, Perception, Social Psychology, Neuroscience).

The Department has a strong tradition of collaborative research across traditional boundaries within Psychology and beyond. Our researchers
are currently involved in three ESRC Research Centres (Corpus Approaches to Social Sciences - CASS; Centre for Research and Evidence on Security Threats - CREST; International Centre for Language and Communicative Development - LuCiD). We are interested in
candidates who can provide strong academic leadership and whose research and teaching connects them with these or other areas of excellence within the University such as the Centre for Ageing Research, the Institute of Data Science, the Institute of Social
