Two tenure track positions at Northwestern University

We are looking to fill one tenure track faculty line in speech, language, and learning at the assistant level. And another tenure track line in hearing/audiology at the assistant/associate levels. The formal announcements are below.

ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR POSITION

in Communication Sciences and Disorders (HEARING)

 

 

The Roxelyn and Richard Pepper Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northwestern University is searching for a tenure-track faculty member, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the general areas auditory and vestibular function, broadly defined. We seek to recruit an individual engaged in impactful and visionary lines of research. Our intention is to recruit individuals with a track record of, or potential to develop, cutting-edge programmatic research to move the field forward. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in the undergraduate, AuD, and PhD programs within the department.

 

Preferred starting date:            September 1, 2017.

Duties:   Development of a fundable program of research, teach courses in the areas hearing or vestibular function, direct student research, and provide doctoral student advising.

Qualifications:     Earned Ph.D., AuD/PhD, or MD/PhD required. The candidate must have interests and experience required to teach courses in the Department and develop interdisciplinary research affiliations with other units of the University. Clinical certification is not required.

 

Salary:    Competitive, depending on qualifications and experience.
