Anti-aliased L-F model and its application to an educational tool for speech science

Dear List,

I have added a new interactive tool to the page "Matlab realtime speech tools," which was announced
to this list about a year ago. The tool provides interactive environment for exploring relations
between, vocal tract shape, transfer function, pole locations of the transfer function, LSF (line
spectrum frequencies), F0, vibrato, glottal source characteristics (based on the L-F model)
and generated speech sounds. Everything is written in Matlab and runs on Mac and Windows
(R2013b and R2015a). The tool is based on technologies up to 1990s except for the closed
form representation of the anti-aliased L-F model, which was presented at a technical meeting
of IEICEJ, on 3rd August, 2015. The Matlab code and compiled applications of the tool, which
do not require Matlab license are liked below.

Have fun!

PS: I also found that this tool is useful to correct some of my basic misunderstandings.
