Post-Doc Position in Digital Audio Signal Processing @ KUG-IEM, AUSTRIA

At the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Austria a vacant position 
at the Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics is announced for a

Post-Doc / Senior Scientist  

according to §26 of the current collective agreement of the Austrian 
Universities in contractual obligation on employment relationship with a 
full-time employment for a period of five years.

General Application Requirements:

PhD degree in digital signal processing or audio engineering, or equal 
experience in independent scientific research

Specific Application Requirements:

The job offer addresses applications from outstanding young scientists to fill 
a senior scientist post-doctoral position in digital audio signal processing. 
The field of specialization is related towards spatial and/or statistical 
signal processing. Furthermore profound background knowledge in audio 
engineering is required. Moreover, applicants should have relevant 
publications in the targeted scientific field, should be associated to the 
scientific community, and are desired to bring experience in project 
leadership, project acquisition, and self management. Further abilities 
should comprise experience in supervision of Bachelor and Master Theses, and 
comprehensively programming skills in MATLAB, C and e.g. Pure Data (PD) are 
requested. Excellent English or additional German language skills would be 
favourable.

The applicant joins and leads an existing research team that is dedicated to 
research in an ongoing project within the Advanced Audio Processing (AAP) 
Consortium on success of his/her application.

Candidates with a PhD degree who meet the required expertise and skills
