Re: Matlab code for deconvolution?

Dear Ursula,

In Matlab's Image Processing Toolbox there is a deblurring function called deconvlucy, based on Lucy-Richardson method (used as well to deblur Hubble's space telescope images).

Of course you are talking about audio and not an image (1D instead of 2D), but the underlying signal processing principles are the same, so I believe you'll be able to use it, possibly with some tweaking of the algorithm.

Itamar Katz.

Dear All,

Does anyone know of good Matlab code for deconvolution of audio recordings?

I have to do spectral analyses of recordings that were made under poor conditions (using
a hydrophone underwater in a small glass tank) and I am struggling to remove the
artifacts.

Many thanks,
