This afternoon I tried to make an EXCEL diagram showing the evanescent-wave streamlines in the wine glass. It turned out that there was a mistake in Eq. (2) of my earlier posting. The correct streamline equation is as follows:
x * y = (r_0)^2 / 2 , where r_0 = minimal distance from center.
