Hi! Anyway, you should consider that HD 580 are open headphones and HD 250 Linar II closed ones. I guess you are familiar with all (dis)advantages. Depending on the kind of the psychoacoustical experiments our team is using either a HD 580 (open; it seems to be unavailable in Central Europe too) or a Sennheiser HDA 200 (closed headphones): http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/home_en.nsf/root/professional_audiology_002994 If you think about buying HDA 200 headphones I could send you (self-measured) frequency response reports (of course based on our hardware system; for the measurement I used a Brüel & Kjaer sound level measurement device and artificial ear). Februar 2010 22:31:04 Hi list, I am currently looking for a headphone for psychoacoustics experiments. I used to use Sennheiser HD 250 Linear II, but it is hard to find it. I have also been searching for Sennheiser HD 580. Again hard to find it. Would you recommend a headphone which is comparable to either Sennheiser HD 250 Linear II or Sennheiser HD 580?
