Dear list and Al,

sound examples of the illusion are found under the heading "Supporting info=
rmation" at about =BE down the article page (http://www.plosone.org/article=
/info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0008151). You can easily find it by cl=
icking "Supporting information" in the blue box at the top of the page ( "J=

Dear list and Leon,

I have fooled around in the past with sequences that seem to speed up or sl=
ow down indefinitely.  I was interested to read about the sequence created =
by Guy Madison, cited by Leon. But I couldn't find an audio demo associated=
with the article, although I would have liked to hear it.

Dear list, Al and Guy,

A mathematician called Vincent Feuvrier has created a software (source code
is also provided) to create infinite rising pitch and speed sounds. You
might be interested for educational purposes.

Dear All,
