The Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics (Department of Music) has a vacancy for a PhD candidate in a project on audio-visual interactions of music
perception. The project investigates auditory processing by systematically manipulating visual image excerpts
of video recordings from musical performances and employs a broad range of methods including eye tracking. The PhD candidate should be highly motivated to work in an interdisciplinary
team and should have experience in experimental research, advanced statistical methods and computer programming. Some knowledge of the German language is highly desirable. For more information, please see the job announcement on the
