[AUDITORY] Funded PhD opportunity for UK students at UCL on voice clones



Dear all,

We have an exciting opportunity for 𝗨𝗞 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 to join a 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆-𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗗 project in our department at UCL (London). The student on this project will work with Patti Adank, myself (Emma Holmes), and Josef Schlittenlacher to examine AI voice cloning and how it could support communication among older adults with hearing loss.

The title of the project is: Optimising voice cloning for assistive hearing technologies.
