A gentle reminder that Abstract submission for Forum Acusticum 2026 will be drawing to a close later this week (30th April 2026):

Dear Colleagues,

Forum Acusticum 2026 (FA2026) will be held in from 812 September in the historic city of Graz, near the Austrian Alps. The conference will be coordinated by the Austrian Acoustical Association on behalf of the European Acoustics Association (EAA). Forum Acusticum is a world-leading congress in the field of acoustics, auditory perception and audiology.

Abstract submission will end on Thursday this week (30th April 2026). Submissions should be made through the FA2026 Submission System.

All contributors will have the opportunity to submit a full paper to be published in Documenta of Forum Acusticum 2026. Papers will receive a DOI and will be openly accessible on the EAA’s DEAL platform. Further information on the submission process and deadlines can be found here.

FA2026 will feature a number of dedicated sessions focusing on auditory perceptual processes and their modification through hearing loss (Areas 14 and 15). The programme will incorporate sessions on perceptual, physiological, and non-invasive measures, offering cutting-edge insights into auditory mechanisms and dysfunction. Further information on Areas, Programme, and Venue can be found on the FA2026 website

We would like to draw your particular attention to Session A14.05: Neural substrates of complex auditory perception and auditory scene analysis, which aims to bring together neuroimaging, electro- and neurophysiological perspectives on complex auditory perception, auditory cognition and adaptation. Please feel free to contact either Joe or myself for further information.

Best Wishes
