Dear Auditory List,
If you are interested or have any students who might be interested, please spread the word!
MIT is launching a new Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree in Music Technology and Computation. We are hosting an info session on Wednesday, November 12th at 6:30pm EST. To attend, students can sign up
here.
The MASc is a one-year program, and every admitted student receives one semester of fellowship funding, which includes tuition, health insurance, and a living stipend. We are seeking applicants who have strong fundamentals in music, computation, and engineering. The attached .pdf contains more information, and it would be great if you could share it with any undergraduate students who you think may be interested and/or a good fit for our program. More information can be found at
https://musictech.mit.edu/mt_masc_degree/. For more questions, anyone interested can reach out to <
mtcgp@xxxxxxx>. Thank you in advance for your help as we spread the word about this new and exciting program at MIT.
Additionally, there will likely be PhD positions through the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) department (
more information here).
All the best,
Mark Rau
Assistant Professor of Music Technology
