The
Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences (SHS) at Utah State University (USU) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position, with expertise in audiology or hearing science.
The major emphasis area of the position will be research. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an independent and extramurally funded program of
research that both sustains and elevates the department’s regional and national reputation. The successful candidate also will be expected to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in audiology.
This is a full-time, 9-month academic year position at the main USU campus in Logan, UT. The position is not eligible for telework. Review of applicants will begin
October 15, 2025 and continue until the position is filled. The anticipated start date is August 2026.
