My name is Alexey Voronin, a Music Technology grad student.
I am conducting a research study at Georgia Institute of Technology and we are currently recruiting participants for an online experiment on the perception of extended vocal techniques ( extreme metal vocals) and other vocal styles in music.
The experiment is completely online, open to all music lovers (not just metal fans!), and takes about 15–25 minutes to complete.
What will you do?
- Listen to short audio clips of vocal performances
- Type any lyrics you recognize
- Imitate the vocal sounds using your microphone.
