We are currently conducting a meta-analysis on the irrelevant sound effect (ISE) and are looking for unpublished data, manuscripts, theses, dissertations, and any other type of gray literature that meets the following inclusion criteria:
(1) It is an empirical study.
(2) Task-irrelevant, to-be-ignored sound is presented.
(3) Serial recall data are available.
(4) There are two or more auditory conditions.
(5) The report is written in English or there is an English translation.
If you have any data that meet these criteria, please contact stefanie.richthofer@xxxxxxxxxby 11 August 2025 to be included in the meta-analysis.
