The
Auditory Perception and Neuroscience Lab (PI: Akshay Maggu, PhD) at the University of Connecticut is looking to hire a recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate research technician/assistant with a background in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Cognitive science, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline. The lab is focused on investigating sound processing using behavioral, physiological, and electrophysiological measures in both normative and impaired auditory systems. Main duties will include subject recruitment, data collection and analysis, setting up of IRB protocols, troubleshooting, collaboration with other lab members as assigned by the PI. Prior EEG experience and proficiency in matlab/python programming is desirable.
This position is available for immediate start and will be suitable for someone who wants to gain some more experience before starting grad school.
