[AUDITORY] Call for papers: Forum Acusticum 2025, Malaga (SPAIM) "A11.5 Instruments, Hyperinstruments and beyond"



Dear auditory list,


Forum Acusticum Euronoise 2025 (FA25), the 11th EAA Annual European Conference on Acoustics and Noise Control Engineering organised by the Spanish Acoustical Society, will be held in Malaga (Spain), from June 23rd to 26th, 2025.

 

Forum Acusticum is an annual international convention coordinated by a national acoustical society on behalf of the European Acoustics Association (EAA). The Congress will be a world leading event in the different areas of acoustics and a great opportunity for participants to meet in person, to expand their knowledge, and to share new techniques and competences, in the wide range of topics and interests that acoustics nowadays addresses both in our community, and for society.

 

As organizers of the Structured Session  "A11.5 Instruments, Hyperinstruments and beyond" under the Main Theme "A11 Musical Acoustics", we would like to cordially invite you to submit a paper as with your expertise in this field you would greatly contribute to this session.

 

 

"The aim of the session Instruments, Hyperinstruments and beyond, is to showcase both the classic technologies and sounds of musical instruments and the latest trends, as well as reflections on the future of music and instruments.

We invite you to send us everything from classical instrumental techniques to the most modern and even reviews and reflections on what the future will be like."


Papers can be submitted for oral or poster presentation through the Forum Acusticum Euronoise 2025 website:  https://www.fa-euronoise2025.org.

 

Submission deadline for abstracts not longer than 200 words is January 19th, 2025, while papers need to be submitted by March 23rd, 2025, in case of abstract acceptance.
