It is our pleasure to announce that the Abstract submission for the
Auditory Science Meeting (ASM) 2024 on Thursday 26 - Friday 27th September 2024 is now open.
Please note that this meeting was previously called ‘Basic Auditory Science (BAS),’ ‘BSA short papers meeting,’ and ‘Ear & Hear.’
ASM2024 will be hosted
by the Cambridge Hearing Group and take
place at St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge. There will be affordable accommodation at the college and a conference dinner will be included in the price. We are currently working to raise funds to ensure that the registration costs kept as low as possible.
Research topics to include but not be limited by the following:

Hearing loss and hearing-assistive technologies

Physiology of hearing
·
Auditory cortex
·
Psychophysics
·
Spatial hearing and immersive audio
·
Computational audiology
·
Rehabilitation and training for improving hearing
·
Cognitive aspects of hearing

Development of hearing

Age-related hearing decline
·
Electrophysiology, neuroimaging and objective measures (M/EEG, fNIRS, fMRI, eCAPs etc.)

Speech perception
·
Language processing
Abstracts can be submitted on the conference website
here. The submission deadline will be the 26th of June, 2024.
We expect to be able to give details for registration towards the end of May.
We look forward to seeing you in Cambridge in the autumn.
