[AUDITORY] PhD. on pinna cues

Dear all,

Tom Freeman and I are advertising a Ph.D. opportunity to research the nature of pinna cues.

The nature of pinna cues in the horizontal plane at Cardiff University on FindAPhD.com<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.findaphd.com%2Fphds%2Fproject%2Fthe-nature-of-pinna-cues-in-the-horizontal-plane%2F%3Fp153966&data=05%7C01%7CCullingJ%40cardiff.ac.uk%7C7f21f0c298bf43b0d39c08daf2237ee3%7Cbdb74b3095684856bdbf06759778fcbc%7C1%7C0%7C638088531504404499%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=x7EP6LOMMkVDAUDePh6uRKH8Z3IS0NsHg5sa041apMo%3D&reserved=0>

This opportunity is in competition with other projects within the school, with funding allocated
to the best candidates.

The project involves a combination of machine learning and psychophysics, but familiarity
with both disciplines is not a necessity, because we have a supervisory team with expertise
from each side (it is collaboration the dept. of computer science). The outlined research
programme may seem quite specific, but should be seen as a potential trajectory that is
subject to flexible revision as the research evolves.

Please feel free to contact Tom or myself about any questions you may have.

John
