Re: [AUDITORY] Mouse Room Sound Monitor Recommendations

Hi Luke,
I"m not aware of any sound level meter or other dosimeter that addresses frequencies of interest to mice.
(You didn't say, but I assume that you're interested primarily in a range from 1-4 kHz up to 60-80 kHz.)

Sharon Kujawa and the EPL engineers worked up a system that would run on a PXI.  Ishmael Stefanov-Wagner and Ken Hancock probably put that together.

        External Email - Use Caution

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good off-the-shelf sound meter to monitor noise levels in mouse housing rooms? I'm not finding that much out there that spans the mouse range of hearing, and would really appreciate recommendations from someone that's used one of these things.

Thanks,
Luke Shaheen
