Post-doctoral position for 12 months at IRCAM:
music content analysis to detect sound defects and to
estimate the audio quality.

The successful candidate will integrate the Analysis-Synthesis
team, and will be in charge of pursuing research and development
of automatic music content analysis technologies for the detection
of sound defects, sound degradation, and the estimation of the
audio quality.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES ET SKILLS:
- Very high skills in audio signal processing (spectral analysis,
audio-feature extraction, parameter estimation) (the candidate
should preferably hold a PhD in this field) ;
- Very high skills in deep learning (CNN, RNN, U-Net,
Auto-Encoders) (the candidate should preferably hold a PhD in this
field) ;
- High-skills in Python and TensorFlow programming (or PyTorch) ;
- Good knowledge of UNIX environments (GNU-Linux ou MacOSX) ;
- Knowledge in distributed computing;
- High productivity, methodical works, excellent programming
style.

Le/la chercheur(se) recruté(e) sera affecté(e) à l’équipe
Analyse-Synthèse et sera chargé de poursuivre les activité le
recherche et développement relatives à l’analyse automatique
d’enregistrements musicaux pour la détection de
défauts/dégradations, et l’estimation de la qualité audio.
EXPÉRIENCE ET COMPÉTENCES REQUISES :
- Très bonne connaissance du traitement du signal (analyse
spectrale, extraction de descripteurs audio, estimation de
paramètres) (le candidat doit idéalement avoir un doctorat relatif
à ce domaine) ;
- Très bonne connaissance en algorithmes d’apprentissage profond
(CNN, RNN, U-Net, Auto-Encoders) (le candidat doit idéalement
avoir un doctorat relatif à ce domaine) ;
- Très bonne connaissance de la programmation Python et TensorFlow
(ou PyTorch) ;
- Bonne connaissance de l'environnement UNIX (GNU-Linux ou MacOSX)
;
- Connaissance en calcul distribué ;
- Haute productivité, travail méthodique, excellent style de
programmation, bonne communication, rigueur.
