[AUDITORY] International Conference on Auditory Cortex (ICAC 2022) September 3-7.

Dear all,

We are delighted to announce the next International Conference on Auditory Cortex (ICAC 2022) in Magdeburg, Germany, in September 3-7.

Conference project

The conference continues the series of previous conferences held in Banff (Canada) in 2017, Lausanne (Switzerland) in 2012, Nottingham (UK) in 2006, and Magdeburg (Germany) in 2003, 2009, 2014 and 2021 (virtual).

The scientific program, organized by a group of renowned international colleagues and by members of the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology Magdeburg, will cover a wide range of topics and will provide unique opportunities to discuss current ideas of auditory cortex functions and concepts in humans and animals. In addition to keynote lectures and main talks, there will be short presentations and ample time for posters and for discussions, including possibilities for meetings of PhD students and young investigators with the keynote and main speakers..

We will seek to provide several travel stipends and awards and will offer support for childcare and hearing-impaired participants.

The setting of the meeting in the marvelous Herrenkrug Parkhotel right next to the Elbe river has, in the past, provided a relaxed yet stimulating atmosphere for scientific discussions. We are confident this spirit will linger also this time. We, the organizers of the conference, will do our best to care for this ambience by providing an excellent scientific program complemented by attractive social events. Still, if you need a break from it all, there are ideal possibilities for a range of other activities (wellness, golf, tennis, cycling, and much more).

We look forward to welcoming you in Magdeburg!
