[AUDITORY] Position available: Lecturer in Acoustics & Architectural Acoustics (University of Edinburgh)



Dear Auditory list, (with apologies for cross-postings)

We are really excited to announce a new permanent academic post in Acoustics & Architectural Acoustics, at the University of Edinburgh. The post is at "lecturer" level (equivalent to assistant/associate professor), and is a full time university role involving research, teaching, and a promotion pathway.

The post is formally based in the Reid School of Music, with a range of exciting potential research links to other parts of the University and beyond. The successful applicant will also join our Acoustics & Audio Group, which is a cross-School multidisciplinary research group here at Edinburgh.

The postholder will contribute towards teaching on our undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in Acoustics & Music Technology, as well as forge an independent research agenda.
