| 2 POST-DOCTORAL POSITIONS IN NON-HUMAN PRIMATE AUDITORY ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY. Departments of Psychiatry and Bioengineering, University of Pittsburgh, PA, USA  The lab of Dr. Teichert at the University of Pittsburgh has openings for two non-human primate auditory electrophysiologists at the post-doctoral level. The lab studies the neurobiology
of auditory function in the non-human primate to better understand altered auditory function in neuropsychiatric conditions.  The post-docs will explore the neural substrate of echoic memory in the awake behaving non-human primate to better understand how echoic memory function may be affected in in schizophrenia.
The post-docs will be involved in all aspects of the research including data collection using EEG, pupillometry, acutely inserted laminar probes, and chronically implanted moveable micro-electrode arrays (SC96 Graymatter Research), as well as analysis and
modeling of behavioral and neural data. If you are interested, please check out these two recent publications: To apply, please send a CV and a brief statement of interest to teichert@xxxxxxxx.
