We are recruiting a highly motivated individual with interest in hearing science, audiology, speech-language pathology, language science, and/or linguistics. Our primary aim is to describe the
effects of auditory input via cochlear implants on spectral and temporal processing and to describe how manipulations in auditory input impact speech production, perception, language, and literacy. The student would have the opportunity to complete behavioral
assessments of auditory, speech, language, and literacy in a group of children with cochlear implants. Previous clinical education and experience is ideal, but not required.
