Call for proposals and registration: Joint Conference on Binaural And Spatial Hearing (BASH) A virtual follow-up to the 2019 meetings of the Binaural Bash (Boston USA), The Binaural Brainstem & Beyond (Oldenburg Germany), and the Macquarie University Binaural Workshop (Sydney Australia) Meeting dates: 5-7 November 2020 This virtual meeting will consist of informal presentations on binaural and spatial hearing followed by live, real-time discussions across multiple sessions with accommodations made for different time zones. Presentations will include both invited real-time talks and contributed pre-recorded talks. The organizers are now seeking proposals for contributed pre-recorded talks from established and junior investigators interested in presenting provocative research, puzzling results, or work in progress to a broad international audience. Perceptual, physiological, and modeling studies of binaural and/or spatial hearing are all encouraged, as are theoretical and historical perspectives on the same. Presentations should be brief (no more than 3 primary slides) and aim to produce vigorous discussion among an expert audience. Proposals to present at the conference can be submitted using this link <https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/G2NK7KR>. Proposals should include a brief preliminary title or description of the general topic. A detailed abstract is not required. Even virtual space is limited, so presentations will be accommodated on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Pre-recorded talks should be made available no later than Friday October 23. Non-presenters can register to attend using this link <https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GWPRFWK>. Conference website: http://binaural.and.spatialhearing.org |
