We are pleased to announce two NIHR-funded postdoctoral research opportunities at the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre. Appointments will work within a vibrant interdisciplinary
team of clinical and academic colleagues in Hearing Sciences at the University of Nottingham, UK.
A three-year post in health behaviour change: The post holder will work closely with the PI and with patients
to co-develop and assess novel behavioural tools designed to improve the use of hearing aids provided to patients by the NHS. This prestigious post includes a dedicated training and development
budget. There is also protected time and support toward the end of the appointment to enable the post holder to develop a personal fellowship application (or similar) to support their research career beyond this post.

A one-year post in auditory-cognitive training:
The post holder will examine the feasibility of providing novel training interventions to first time hearing aid users within the NHS, with specific responsibility for the delivery of the
feasibility study across two UK NHS Audiology services.
