We particularly welcome applicants who work at the interface between hearing and speech perception, and study how these processes change over the lifespan. This might include (but is not limited to):
- hearing, speech, and language development in the first years of life,
- the interaction of hearing and cognition for speech communication in ageing populations,
- listening effort,
- speech and hearing in typical and atypical populations,
- hearing impairment and speech perception, and
- speech-in-noise perception across the lifespan.
