We are looking for a highly motivated

Research Scientist (f/m/d, Postdoc, fulltime)

for a fixed-term position commencing 01/01/2020 (or later) until at least 03/2022 (Funding is available for potential further employment within the group beyond the 2 years, subject to review).

Your profile
• a solid background in experimental approaches in psychophysiology, neuroimaging, or behavioral research (preferably M/EEG, pupillometry, or eye-tracking)
• programming experience (preferably MATLAB or Python)
• publication activity in international peer-reviewed journals
• qualification in psychology, cognitive sciences, neuroscience, or related fields
• very good written and oral communication skills in English

Your tasks
• development of research approaches, design of experiments, data analysis, and publication of studies on cognitive development from infancy to adulthood
• co-supervision of doctoral students

The Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology in Magdeburg is an internationally renowned center for learning and memory research. The research group focuses on the development of attention, memory and perception in typically and atypically developing children. The group is funded by the Center for Behavioral Brain Sciences (CBBS) from the State of Saxony-Anhalt and the European Regional Development Fund (EFRE).
