The Acoustics Group at the University of Oldenburg is looking for a
Postdoctoral researcher in Computational Auditory Scene Analysis and Processing (m/w/d)
until 31.10.2022. Salary is according to E13 TV-L, 100 %. The position is suitable for part-time work.
We are looking for postdoctoral candidates holding a PhD degree with an academic university degree (master or equivalent) in physics, electrical engineering or a related
discipline, to work on a postdoctoral project until Oct. 2022 within the Cluster of Excellence, Hearing4all (https://hearing4all.eu/EN/). The project focusses on Computational Auditory Scene Analysis (CASA) and Processing
to perform joint speaker detection and localization and spatial feature enhancement of the auditory scene. Prior experience with CASA, spatial audio processing, and DNNs is strongly recommended for a successful application.
The acoustics group offers an attractive environment with research covering auditory perception, computational auditory scene analysis, new technologies for sound reproduction,
and sound quality research for automobile and aviation. The University of Oldenburg is known for its wide range of activities in hearing research and offers an excellent environment for a postdoctoral project in Computation Auditory Scene Analysis and Processing.
The successful candidate is expected to conduct research in Computational Auditory Scene Analysis and Processing leading to scientific publications in peer-reviewed
journals and to collaborate within the Cluster of Excellence.
