Re: [AUDITORY] Building a Sonovox

The smallest wattage of these should be more than sufficient. You may need to do more to mechanically couple the transducer to the performer somehow, perhaps this is addressed in the patent.

Good luck!

Hello list,

I'm assisting an engineer who is interested in building a Sonovox <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kH-krlgo2e8>, an instrument patented in 1939 (patent here <https://patents.google.com/patent/US2273078A/en>) which is a relative of the talk box. Is anyone on the auditory list acquainted with the specifications of the Sonovox (wattage, materials, etc.) or how to construct one?

Thank you for any tips or knowledge you might be able to pass on.

Thanks,
