A three-year PhD Scholarship in binaural hearing with cochlear implants and hearing aids is available immediately at the laboratory of Enrique A. Lopez-Poveda, University of Salamanca (Spain).
Applications are invited from enthusiastic candidates with a master’s degree, excellent written and oral communications skills, and good command of the Spanish and English languages. Applications will be considered from candidates with technical background (engineering, physics, mathematics…) and complementary knowledge in audiology or hearing sciences. Programming skills, preferably in Matlab, are required.
The research will be carried out in an interdisciplinary, international team of researchers. For more information about the research group, see http://audiolab.usal.es.
Funding is provided for three years. Candidates will need to apply for admission to the Neuroscience program of the University of Salamanca. Admission to the program is subject to compliance with the program requirements (see http://doctorado.usal.es/es/doctorado/neurociencias).
