[AUDITORY] Symposium “Current approaches in experimental hearing research” in Oldenburg, Germany

The Department of Neuroscience of the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg, Germany,
together with the Cluster of Excellence “Hearing4all”
will host a symposium

“Current approaches in experimental hearing research”

The one-day symposium will be held in Oldenburg, on October 30th
We want to foster discussion among leaders in experimental auditory neuroscience who bridge several levels of analysis, e.g., by combining a cutting-edge technique (such as optogenetics or advanced molecular/cellular approaches) with behavioural testing or computational approaches.
We welcome submission of a short abstract (200 words) and a brief CV, electronically to Christine.Koeppl@xxxxxx, until Aug 18th. From these, a steering committee will select around 8 contributions to be invited as plenary talks (all travel costs covered).
There is also the (optional) opportunity to attend the preceding annual international symposium of the Cluster of Excellence “Hearing4all”, in Hannover, Oct 28-29th.
