We are currently looking for a candidate for a full-time RA position in the SLAM (Speech, Language, and Music) lab (
https://osu-slam.github.io/).
Work in the lab investigates how speech, language, and music sound is processed in the human brain via a combination of behavioral (psychoacoustics) and neuroimaging methods (fMRI, fNIRS, EEG). The main duties of the position help managing and facilitating lab's research activities; this includes experimental design and analysis, acquiring data, writing scientific papers for publication, and assisting in IRB materials. Familiarity with fMRI, fNIRS, and/or other experimental techniques is desired as is a high proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Matlab). The position is available for up to a two-year period (with possibility of extension) starting this Summer or Fall 2019.
