teaches advanced research approaches to the development, function, and pathology of the inner ear and downstream auditory and vestibular pathways in the central nervous system. BIE has been held every 2 years since 2007.
Featuring a large expert faculty (>40) and small student class (15-20), BIE offers extraordinary opportunities
for student-faculty interactions via lectures, tutorials, research seminars, demonstrations, laboratory exercises conducted side-by-side with faculty, independent laboratory time, and informal discussions.
