XVI National Conference of the Spanish Association of Audiology (AEDA)

The Spanish Association of Audiology (AEDA) is happy to announce the scientific program for the XVI AEDA Conference that will be held in Madrid in May 10^th and May 11^th of 2019. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Linda Hood from Vanderbilt University (USA) who will address last advancements on diagnosis ad management of auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder.

The conference will hold 15 podium presentations among four different panels with national and international speakers, among them Dr. Kevin Munro from University of Manchester, Dr. Carles Escera from University of Barcelona, Dr. Jeremy Marozeau from Technical University of Denmark or Dr. Hélène Amieva from University of Bordeaux. In addition, four clinically oriented one-hour long masterclasses will be organized for those aiming to gain clinical knowledge on recording and interpretation of ABR and ASSR, hearing aid fitting, exploration of the vestibular system and how to design clinical case studies.

The conference will also include oral communications and poster sessions. Call for papers will be announce shortly. The conference podium presentations, oral communications and masterclasses will be given in Spanish or English. Simultaneous interpretation to Spanish and English will be available in the scientific room.
